From online legal research and MCLE to forms solutions and print books, CEB strives to make high-quality legal information accessible to everyone, from rural solo practices to large law firms. Founded in 1947, CEB is one of California’s oldest and most prestigious legal information and continuing legal education providers. CEB publishes judgments of California case law, practical guidance for attorneys and CLE all in a variety of practice areas and formats e.g. print, online and in-person. CEB operates as a nonprofit within the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). We are an arm of UCLA Extension as we provide continuing education needed for licensed lawyers and other legal professionals.

Position Summary
The Content Validation Specialist will serve in a critical role for our end users. In many ways similar to a copy editor, the Content Validation Specialist provides a detailed review of source file materials, validating structural and styling requirements, ensuring content is filtered through publishing workflows is presented correctly for a quality customer experience. This position sits within the Production Team reporting to the Electronic Publication Manager.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated editing and writing abilities (Required)
- Proficiency with analyzing and working with Word, XML, CXML content structures (Required)
- Proficiency with HTML content outputs (Required)
- Proficiency with PDF format, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe InDesign (Required)
- Ability to independently read and interpret complex system error reporting (Required)
- Ability to meet daily deadlines (Required)
- Strong attention to detail and focus on excellence (Required)
- Ability to communicate and work effectively remotely (Required)
- Experience with Typefi Editor/Writer applications (Required)
- Experience with XPP and Arbortext (Preferred)
