Job Summary & Deliverables
The Grant Writer identifies, defines, and develops funding sources to support existing and planned program activities and leads the development, writing, and submission of grant proposals to federal, state, and private funding sources. The Grant Writer also collects, analyzes, and reports data on the performance of program activities that are funded by federal, state, and private funding agencies.

Job Summary & Deliverables
The Grant Writer identifies, defines, and develops funding sources to support existing and planned program activities and leads the development, writing, and submission of grant proposals to federal, state, and private funding sources. The Grant Writer also collects, analyzes, and reports data on the performance of program activities that are funded by federal, state, and private funding agencies.
- Researches and identifies new government, corporate, foundation, and private funding prospects to match strategic and/or mission priorities
- Generates high-quality proposals, applications, and supporting documents consistent with internal policies and procedures and the requirements and guidelines of the funding organizations
- Manages the master grants calendar and tracks the status of grant projects, grant schedules, and all associated files and correspondence
- Serves as a liaison to all funding agencies and organizations
- Works with appropriate team members to develop, write, and submit letters of inquiry and grant proposals
- Meets regularly with leadership to discuss current and new funding needs
Required Qualifications
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Three years of grant writing experience, preferably with a behavioral health and housing focus
- None
- Proven track record of securing new funding opportunities
