Essential Functions
  • Production - act as Production Assistant on larger shoots, and as camera operator (either primary or secondary) on smaller shoots.
  • Post-Production - act as Assistant Editor on larger projects (case studies, proposal videos, etc.), and as lead editor on smaller edits (social cuts, internal content, etc.)
  • Strong storytelling skills, creativity, and organization.
  • The ability and desire to learn and assist with all other aspects of production and pre-production.
  • Manage gear and infrastructure, sourcing stock footage and music, and managing the video server and digital asset management system.
  • Bring a marketing mind, an eye for persuasion, and a curiosity for making construction life look engaging on video.

Required Experience
  • Pursuing a college degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Adobe Creative Suite: Proficiency with Adobe Premiere. Knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. a plus
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills to prioritize in a fast-changing environment.
  • Knowledge of camera systems and lighting and/or willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn new technologies (e.g. social media, CRM).
  • Highly self-motivated individual that works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with clarity and conviction.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
