Job Description
The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, a non-profit, membership organization with its National Headquarters located near the White House, is seeking an iMIS Application Developer to join their Information Systems team.
This position will develop, upgrade, and develop web services to integrate with iMIS RiSE to ensure it meets the needs of our members and staff. This role will monitor system performance, ensuring availability as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues.
We are seeking someone with a proven ability to understand membership database platforms, especially iMIS. The person in this role will not only use their technical skills, but also their project management capabilities to manage and oversee our resources.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages all planning, setup, installation, testing, training, deployment in production and development environments for our iMIS systems.
- Develops framework infrastructure to improve and automate web application integration and deployment.
- Documents, configures, and manages software and application implementation and updates to identify immediate needs and plan towards long-term goals.
- Analyzes performance indicators and web traffic, identifying areas for improvement.
- Safeguards overall site quality including compliance, browser compatibility, validation, and usability.
- Works with and manages third party iMIS developers to create special DAR-centric functionality.
- Works closely with Database Analyst to develop reports to carry out the organization's objectives.
Position Requirements: - Must have a minimum of 3 years working directly with iMIS.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science and information technology, or related field.
- Experience with iMIS by Advanced Solutions International is required. Knowledge of similar Association Management or Event Management Systems is beneficial.
- Experience developing with XML, APIs, mobile aps, HTML5, javascript/jquery and website responsive Design a plus.
- Website management (CMS) knowledge, especially in iMIS RiSE, including style sheet (CSS) development preferred.
- Adept at using analytical process and creative thinking in troubleshooting and application design.
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills needed.
- Previous work with a membership nonprofit preferred.

- The targeted hiring salary is in the low 80's to mid-90's with the final determination based upon the candidate's overall experience.
