Position Overview:

Join our client's dynamic team as a skilled Post Production Network Engineer. You will be pivotal in ensuring seamless connectivity, performance, and reliability of post-production systems and infrastructure. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the technological backbone of global multimedia and entertainment operations.

Must Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 3 years of experience in network engineering, focusing on post-production, broadcast, or multimedia environments
• Strong knowledge of video production systems, including video servers, storage solutions, editing workstations, and streaming technologies
• Proficiency in networking protocols, routing, switching, and firewall configurations (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, VLAN, DNS, and DHCP)
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques
• Familiarity with video over IP technologies (e.g., NDI, SMPTE 2110) and industry-standard post-production tools
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by production schedules

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the entertainment, sports, or media industry
• Familiarity with automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
• Certifications in networking (e.g., Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent)
• Experience with Palo Alto servers and/or cybersecurity
• Knowledge of Avid, Adobe Premiere, Vizrt, and Brainstorm

Day to Day:

• Manage, troubleshoot, and optimize post-production network systems for high-performance video editing, streaming, and content delivery
• Collaborate with post-production and broadcast teams to design and implement efficient and scalable network solutions for video workflows
• Provide real-time technical support and resolve network-related issues during live production and editing sessions
• Ensure seamless integration of storage, servers, and other production-related hardware with the network infrastructure
• Monitor and maintain the health of production network equipment, addressing performance bottlenecks and potential failures
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth operations of content distribution pipelines, including OTT platforms, streaming services, and broadcast outlets
• Perform regular system updates, maintenance, and backups to safeguard critical production assets
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, workflows, and troubleshooting procedures
• Implement and manage security measures to protect sensitive production data across internal and external networks
