Red Cedar TG TG is seeking a dynamic, proactive, and self-starting Cloud Network Engineer to join our Enterprise Architecture Team at Scott AFB, IL.

Responsibilities
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment, configuration, and automation of enterprise cloud environments.
- Install, configure, and manage various network devices and services, ensuring functionality and efficiency across multisite environments.
- Ensure network devices and infrastructure meet DoD compliance standards by implementing security and hardening for firewalls, routers, switches, and other networking components.
- Configure and support networking solutions for hybrid cloud environments, particularly with Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Provide senior-level support and oversight for network infrastructure, taking ownership of networking technologies across multiple sites.
- Manage the network firewall security platform, overseeing configuration, planning, administration, and monitoring in collaboration with managed service vendors.
- Perform continuous monitoring and troubleshooting using diagnostic and analytic tools to maintain network health and security.
- Interface multi-cloud networking with physical network infrastructure to ensure seamless integration and performance.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of professional experience in network engineering, specifically with layer 2 and 3 network architecture.
- Active DoD Secret clearance.
- Current CompTIA Sec+ or better.
- AWS cloud practitioner certification or better.
- Proven experience configuring, managing, and administering network firewall security platforms.
- Hands-on experience with multi-cloud networking and hybrid cloud environments, including seamless integration of physical network infrastructure in platforms like Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Skilled in developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines to automate and optimize enterprise cloud environments.
- Proficiency with monitoring, diagnostic, and network analytic tools.
- Proficiency configuring, securing, and hardening networking devices, such as firewalls, switches, and routers, in compliance with DoD standards.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks independently, meet deadlines, and work well with minimal supervision.
- Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a small team.
Desired
- Familiarity with AWS GovCloud or other Government Cloud environments.
