Job Description
We are in search of a Media Buyer and Planner to join our team in theCPG industry, based in Chatsworth, California. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for planning, purchasing and implementing media campaigns. Your focus will be on aligning these initiatives with brand strategies and ensuring they deliver measurable impact across multiple channels.
Responsibilities:
• Formulate and execute media strategies tailored for specific brands.
• Utilize audience insights, competitive research and market trends to develop multi-channel media plans.
• Work closely with Brand Teams to align media plans with brand objectives and marketing goals.
• Lead negotiations and media purchases across various platforms including digital, social, TV, OOH, and other relevant channels.
• Foster strong relationships with boutique agencies and media vendors to secure prime placements and value-added opportunities.
• Optimize media budgets to maximize ROI and ensure cost-effective resource allocation.
• Oversee the execution of media campaigns from start to finish, monitoring performance metrics throughout.
• Collaborate with internal Data Analysts to evaluate campaign performance and use analytic tools to gather insights for optimization.
• Prepare detailed post-campaign reports with actionable recommendations for future strategies.
• Ensure media placements align with broader marketing efforts by working closely with Creative, PR, and Brand Teams.
• Support Sales Teams by aligning media initiatives with key product launches and retail activation plans.
• Stay updated with emerging media trends and explore innovative ways to integrate them into brand strategies.
• Develop creative and out-of-the-box media solutions that distinguish brands in a crowded market.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the role of Media Buyer and Planner or similar within the Amusement/Recreation Ser/Entertainment industry• Proven expertise in Media Buying, with a focus on maximizing the value of investments
• Strong skills in Campaign Planning and execution, with a track record of successful Digital Media Campaigns
• Experience with Digital Media Planning, ensuring efficient and effective use of digital channels
• Proficiency in Paid Social and Paid Search Campaigns, demonstrating an ability to reach target audiences
• Knowledge of CCTV operations, reflecting a broader understanding of media platforms
• Demonstrated success in driving Brand Awareness, using various media channels to increase visibility
• Experience in managing Paid Search efforts, with a focus on optimizing return on investment
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team, showcasing excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred
