Nature of Work:

As part of the Ad Sales Operations team, the Ad Sales Marketing Coordinator is a professional with expertise in creating effective, persuasive, high-level PowerPoint presentations and other visual presentation software. This position will manage the creation of advertising sales programs and materials across 4 networks, 14 national print publications, 19 websites, and multiple social platforms. The Ad Sales Marketing Coordinator will be a go-to expert for client-facing PowerPoint and multimedia presentations. As a team member supporting executive presentation efforts, this position will work closely with others to determine the look and feel of each presentation. Interact and effectively communicate across departments to accomplish various goals and company objectives.

Examples of work performed:

  • Design and develop presentations for clients, sponsors, and general pitches
  • Create engaging, interactive, and visually appealing presentations
  • Maintain presentation software database (ClearSlide)
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends in presentation design
  • Maintain magazine cover thumbnail database
  • Ideate on RFP’s, working closely with AE’s and Sales Managers to understand client needs and deliver effective concepts and presentations
  • Maintain client logo database, including source and format
  • Maintain materials on BTB website, coordinating across various department stakeholders
  • Across-department coordination on tentpole sales initiatives as needed
  • Coordinate annual projects, including sales efforts in publications, digital/social and television
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum
    1. 2 – 3 years of expert knowledge of PowerPoint, marketing/sales or equivalent experience
    2. Experience with Adobe suite software, specifically InDesign and Photoshop
    3. Ability to incorporate design strategy with photos, audio, video, and animation via PowerPoint presentations
    4. Design engaging presentations with compelling visuals and visual representation of content
    5. Strong communication skills required to develop and maintain effective working relationships
    6. Own the design process from concept to completion, including proofing for accuracy and adherence
    7. Ability to participate and interact effectively on a team as well as work independently under tight deadlines
    8. Solid experience with complex presentations and the ability to multitask
    9. Ability to partner with Sales managers and team members on various projects

  • Preferred
    1. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, multimedia or equivalent experience
    2. Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    3. Strong conceptual and creative talent

Compensation:

  • Base salary of: $50,000 - $53,000 per year
  • Potential for annual discretionary bonus
