Description: We are seeking a senior-level media and advertising insights expert to join our growing Global Marketing Insights & Analytics team. This role will be responsible for leading insights and media research projects across Apple’s search, video, and display advertising products in North America. You will partner with a variety of team members across our Marketing and Partner Development teams to deliver compelling insights that demonstrate the value of Apple’s unique advertising solutions. In addition, you will collaborate closely with a highly diverse, distributed team of data scientists, analysts, and researchers to develop best-in-class analytical tools, data products, and research studies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in media research and analytics, ideally at a media company, technology platform, or agency.
- Experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting third-party data (e.g. Comscore, Nielsen, GWI, MRI/Simmons), first-party data (e.g. advertising performance & media usage data), and custom market research (e.g. ad effectiveness, brand lift, usage & attitude studies).
- Experience crafting market research studies.
Key Qualifications Preferred Qualifications
- Expert knowledge of search, display, and video ad formats, programmatic advertising, and the evolving digital media landscape.
- Skilled at building relationships, discussing and debating ideas in a collaborative way, developing an informed point of view, and driving quality work across a geographically distributed team.
- Extraordinary communication, presentation, storytelling, and data visualization skills, with proven ability to simplify complex information into actionable and compelling insights.
- Effective project leader who is proactive, self-motivated, and excels at moving initiatives forward by navigating ambiguity and leading through influence.
- Relentless attention to detail, thoughtfulness, and curiosity.
- High attention to detail, team-orientation, and an ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Advanced understanding of audience measurement methodologies for traditional and digital media, including panel-based, census-level, and hybrid.
- Experience querying large datasets using SQL and developing reports and dashboards with Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with database architecture and data stores like AWS and Snowflake.
- MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,900 and $269,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
