Salary: $43K-$47K/annually

A PLAYDAY Studio Manager is responsible for the efficient and effective functioning of the studio and its activities. This includes managing the studio staff, carrying out the daily operations of the studio, and ensuring the highest quality of customer service.


This is a full-time salaried position that includes 5 PTO days, 7 paid holidays, health benefits(with company contribution included), and a Simple IRA plan with employer match.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the studio, including scheduling activities and events, planning birthday parties, overseeing studio staff, managing inventory, and ensuring the studio is running efficiently.
  • Pick up children from schools within walking distance from the studio.
  • Lead and motivate studio staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Follow and put into practice all S.O.P.s and Company policies outlined in our Employee Handbook and on other Company platforms.
  • Help maintain safe conditions and report in a timely manner any unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude when engaging with children, parents, caregivers and PLAYDAY staff members.
  • Maintain required paperwork and other necessary records, if applicable.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelors degree or relevant/equivalent work experience required.
  • Prior experience working with children required.
  • Solid background in management, performance, events, art instruction, or a related field required.
  • Must pass criminal background check.


Required Skills & Abilities:


  • Solid knowledge and skills to teach and lead PLAYDAYs activities and offerings (e.g., camp sessions, offsite workshops/events, hourly sessions, Advanced Art, Grown Up & Me, after-school sessions, birthday parties)
  • A team player, highly energetic, creative, and punctual individual.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently.
  • Dependable, responsible and organized.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, outstanding planning, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours a week.
  • Solid motivational skills, with effective time management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the proven ability to maintain professionalism and tact in high-stress situations.
  • Ability to be insightful, mindful, and encouraging.


Work Environment & Physical Requirements:


  • Class environment, offsite and outdoor locations (e.g., childrens home, school, walking distance park).
  • Prolonged periods of standing and frequent bending.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
