Job Title: Audio Visual Support Technician
Location: Harpers Ferry, WV
Job Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Head of Government Services

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Enter classroom schedules into the digital system.
  • Maintain digital signage content.
  • Perform periodic and monthly checks on all AV equipment, campus digital signage systems, and digital classroom display systems that support ATC training and conference rooms.
  • Provide AV Helpdesk service from 8:00AM to 5:00PM Monday through Friday with guaranteed 1-hour return call response time during business hours.
  • Process Trouble Tickets via email and using customer provided system.
  • Work to primarily resolve all issues to the furthest extent possible.
  • Provide repair and warranty fulfillment of AV/VTC equipment.
  • Coordination of break-fix repair within the terms of manufacturer's warranty.
  • Provide user training via phone or VTC.
  • Monitor projector usage hours and replace all lamps and filters.
  • Maintain operational integrity of digital display and classroom digital signage.
  • Provide monthly activity/status reports.
  • Perform annual inventory updates.
  • Create and maintain AV spreadsheets, charts, tech trackers, and SOPs as needed.
  • Provide scheduling services for digital classroom equipment and display system.
  • Assist with event planning.
  • Maintain supplies and order necessary items when needed.
  • Assist Contracting Officer Representative and Contract Management and Procurement.
  • Format and upload the dining facility menu to the Campus Digital Display System as needed.
  • Familiarity and expertise on Crestron, biamp, Logitech systems, including troubleshooting and installation services.
  • Event support and planning.
  • Must be able to obtain government clearance and have a clean background.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum Three (3) years of relevant experience.
  • Understanding of AV technologies to include control systems, switching, DSP, and LCD displays/projectors.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Advanced computer skills and software knowledge to include MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other company software.
  • Able to lift up to 75 pounds, climb a ladder and work from heights, work in the elements.
