About Our Internships

Tyndale Internships are designed for college students wanting to explore a career in the Publishing industry. You will get to participate in regular events with other interns across various departments, training workshops that translate common workplace language, such as benefits and career development, and Immersion Days. Our goal is to help build your network by developing your skills and infusing social events and gatherings throughout your internship.

The Bibles Acquisitions Intern

Are you interested in investing your creative talents and relational skills in making the Bible widely available and easily understood? Consider an internship with the Bible team at Tyndale House Publishers, where your work will inspire Bible engagement and study, helping to innovate new ways to invite the reader into God's Word. This position provides an opportunity to learn about the process of publishing and gain exposure to various teams and functions within a busy publishing house.

Tyndale House produces industry-leading Bibles with global impact, including the New Living Translation, the Life Application Study Bible, the One Year Bible, Every Man's Bible, Life Recovery Bible, Inspire Bibles, the Filament Bible Collection, and others. The Bible acquisitions intern will collaborate with a dynamic and mission-focused team and outside partners to help us create Bibles that will minister to people in many walks of life.

In this internship, you will join the team responsible for developing new Bible concepts and managing updates of existing Bible sub-brands that support the mission of Tyndale House Publishers. This will include assisting with proposals for new projects, helping to drive the creative process, collaborating with other teams throughout the publishing process, helping to communicate with authors and ministry partners, and supporting good communication across teams.

Requirements:

Qualified candidates must have completed significant undergraduate coursework in English, communications, journalism, business, marketing, or a related field. Understanding of orthodox evangelical theology and the evangelical Christian culture are necessary.

A desirable candidate will have demonstrated and proven talents in critical and creative thinking, relational skills, collaboration, multi-tasking, problem solving, and attentiveness to detail and deadline. This candidate will also possess excellent verbal and written communication abilities. A strong Christian faith walk with a thorough knowledge of the Bible is also necessary for success in this position.

This is an in-house internship: 32-hours per week, Mondays through Thursdays, during the summer of 2025.
