We are looking for:

We are looking for PTZ Camera Operators to join our talent network to be considered for future opportunities onsite in the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, WA, and Austin, TX.

This non-exempt role works on a per-project basis. Sometimes projects are one day, sometimes longer.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Serve as PTZ Robotic Cameras Operator for execution of live event productions.
  • Set up, configuration, operation, and facilitating support of all camera systems.
  • Responsible for shading, color balancing, & focusing of all cameras during events.
  • Ensuring Robo Cameras are properly set up, tested, & programmed prior to events.
  • Working closely with Director and Show Caller to set shots prior to, and during events.
  • Advanced understanding of current audio/video standards and equipment.
  • Using the run-of-show document as a guide to follow show flow.
  • Attending pre-show production meetings with crew to review responsibilities.
  • Ensure set up and operational testing of all cameras is complete pre-show.
  • Following the event content closely to execute with maximum quality and accuracy.
  • Responsible for ensuring shot scenes and presets are recorded.
  • Ability to quickly and efficiently provide shots, as requested.
  • Manage creating elements that include demo shots, as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years experience operating PTZ Robotic Camera systems, preferably for large or high profile events.
  • Experience in live event corporate settings, working with high level talent.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of broadcast and production technology.
  • Thorough understanding of video transport standards.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to rapid show-flow changes in a live and fluid environment.
  • Excellent control room demeanor, proven leadership skills, team-first attitude and the ability to handle pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to interface with both technical and creative members of the event production ecosystem.
  • Excellent communication skills, to both clients and technical staff.
  • Ability to take a service-oriented approach to this position, with a desire to help clients achieve their best result.
  • Responsiveness to queries a must, with updates and follow-through.


Compensation & Benefits:

At Advanced Systems Group LLC, we strive to provide equitable and competitive compensation. Pay is determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, experience, and the location where the work is being performed. For this role, our current hourly pay ranges for new hires in each geographic territory are:

Los Angeles and San Francisco: $65 - 90
Austin, TX: $49 - 68
Seattle, WA: $58 - 81
