Learn more about what we do at: _https://www.psiexams.com/_ About the Role The HiSET Community Manager is responsible for daily operational tasks relating to the HiSET stakeholder community including management of the HiSET Community Advisory Board, as well as assisting HiSET Program staff and leadership and supporting departments with projects and deliverables related to specific client tasks and assignments. This role is a full-time, permanent position, with flexible working hours but core availability through typical Monday-Friday office hours. The role can be performed remotely, with occasional opportunities to travel for meetings, conferences, in-person workshops and operational delivery of project tasks. Role Responsibilities Manage the new HiSET Community Advisory Board and all related activities including but not limited to ensuring: Effective management of the board members, meetings, documents and resources Setting and tracking goals related to program effectiveness The documentation and address of emerging needs and trends. Monitoring active engagement and diverse representation of the board to reflect the community’s demographics, perspectives and needs. Forge partnerships with relevant organizations, businesses, and institutions to expand access to and knowledge of education, test preparation, and training opportunities for HiSET candidates. Connect with employers, workforce development agencies, and job placement services to create pathways for HiSET graduates to gain employment. Develop sustainable strategies and initiatives that ensure the long-term impact and relevance of the HiSET Program in transforming lives and strengthening communities. Serve as a main point of contact for all HiSET community stakeholders and workforce contacts. Facilitate meaningful communication and engagement between HiSET community members, stakeholders, and decision-makers Work with the HiSET Program team to develop and provide resources, workshops, and educational opportunities to empower community members and build awareness of the HiSET Program. Deliver webinars, presentations, trainings and record videos to support the HiSET Program. Work with HiSET leadership and marketing staff to recognize and celebrate the diversity, achievements and contributions of HiSET community members. Attend and facilitate internal and external meetings. Act as a subject matter expert with expertise within the high school equivalency and workforce markets. Develop and retain an active technical understanding of the HiSET Program and other high school equivalency programs. Support client inquiries through use of electronic case management system in a timely manner. Assist and collaborate cross-departmentally regarding daily operational tasks, client relationships and issue investigation. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements Experience in adult education and workforce markets required. Experience working with departments of education, departments of labor, departments of corrections, technical or community colleges, employers and workforce commissions, preferred. Effective stakeholder management experience required. Educational (K-16, high school equivalency, workforce) assessments/ knowledge required. Education to bachelor’s degree level in related field such as adult education, teaching, business or marketing, preferred. Capability to problem-solve, analyze situations, provide resolutions, and lead technical discussions with clients. Experience in effective customer service, client management, and/or technical support is preferred. Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management and CRM systems. Working knowledge of browser-based software and similar technologies. Must have excellent time management, communication and customer service skills.
