We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Community Manager to join our high-performing marketing team, focusing on community growth within the US. You'll be responsible for managing a wide range of community-building activities in the Americas, including events such as webinars, sponsorships, speaking opportunities, full-day events, and analyst roadshows. Additionally, you will lead community engagement, working closely with the commercial team to reach key audiences in the oil, gas, and energy shipping markets.
As part of your role, you'll focus on analyzing, optimizing, and reporting on community activities, demonstrating return on investment (ROI) and their impact on pipeline generation. You'll also contribute to marketing campaigns, with the flexibility to manage both live and virtual events.

Key responsibilities
- Manage community engagement initiatives across the Americas region, including webinars, live events, and partnerships.
- Collaborate with growth and commercial teams to understand audience needs and build a strategic engagement calendar.
- Regularly analyze and optimize the effectiveness of community activities, reporting on KPIs such as registrations, engagement, and pipeline impact.
- Work closely with the campaign marketing team to ensure all content and creative assets drive high engagement in events.
- Partner with APAC & EMEA community managers to align global community strategies and share best practices.
- Take ownership of the Americas community budget and deliver cost-effective, high-impact activities.
- Demonstrate the ROI of community activities, contributing to overall marketing success.
- Have an interest in field marketing and running campaigns to help drive community growth.
Requirements
What makes someone a good fit for this role?
- 5+ years of experience in planning and executing community engagement activities, including live and virtual events.
- A self-starter with strong project management skills and the ability to manage a busy calendar of events.
- Experience with marketing tools like Salesforce and Marketo, and an ability to quickly pick up new technology.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in reporting on event impact and demonstrating ROI.
