Responsibilities: As a Community Manager, you will be instrumental in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our property. Your responsibilities include:
- Market and lease available apartments in compliance with fair housing laws
- Provide exceptional customer service and build connections with residents
- Manage rent collection, deposits, and lease administration using Onesite software
- Market available units and maintain a waitlist of prospective residents
- Oversee renovation and preparation of vacant units for rental
- Bid and negotiate service contracts, procure building supplies, and manage vendor relationships
- Ensure property maintenance and repairs are completed in a timely manner
- Respond to resident requests and complaints with efficiency and courtesy
Qualifications:
- Minimum two years of multi-family property management experience
- One year of management experience with a successful track record in leasing and renewal rates
- LIHTC experience preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office and property management software skills (OneSite experience is a plus)
- Bilingual in Marshallese is a PLUS!
- Excellent problem-solving, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
- Empathy towards residents and staff while enforcing community rules
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
