Job Description

As the Content Developer for Data Center Operations, you will have a vital role in the creation of training content. The Content Developer will create digital assets at designated locations based on storyboarding and scripts. After filming, the Content Developer will edit content based on the needs of T5 data centers and their clients. The ideal candidate has strong video and editing skills; can take directions and follow safety guidelines; works well on a team; can create content based on scripts and storyboards; and can develop content that is informative and engaging. Commercial art experience a bonus.

  • Reads, reviews, and edits scripts and determines the best method for producing video from the script.
  • Collaborates with subject matter consultants and training staff to evaluate and plan productions.
  • Ensures lighting positions, sound enhancement, and proper recording equipment are in place to capture the best images in a variety of locations.
  • Records footage for staged and unscripted scenes.
  • Cuts and edits images to remove bad or extraneous footage, to add effects such as graphics or transitions, and to create a professional video product.
  • Operates equipment including cameras, editing console, time base correctors, audio board, and video switcher.
  • Recommends equipment purchases, upgrades, or replacements.
  • Modifies or designs equipment and systems to meet production requirements.
  • Oversees inventory and orders supplies.
  • Maintains, repairs, services, and installs basic video production equipment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Manage and organize digital assets for efficient workflow.
  • Collaborate alongside the training team.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in instructional design and adult learning. Identify and recommend innovative approaches to enhance learning experiences.
Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Video Production, Photography, New Media, OR similar.
  • Adobe Create Cloud – Premiere and Photoshop
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Experience necessary to prove ability to perform described duties required.
