Overview:

The Content Writer will be responsible for playing a critical role in the ideation, storytelling and copywriting of our brands, which include Ajinomoto, Jose Ole, Tai Pei, and Ling Ling. We are looking for a versatile writer who can bring a story or campaign to life through succinct and hardworking communications across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will have experience with keyword research and can implement an SEO strategy into their content.



Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of the content writer are outlined below and include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Write clear, concise copy for web, print and packaging, inclusive of SEO best practices
  • Optimize email copy, including subject lines and catchy headlines with attention to open-rate and click-thru-rate statistics
  • Help conceptualize marketing materials for the brands
  • Partner with internal creative and external agencies for compelling copy on marketing advertisements
  • Provide proofreading and copyediting support
  • Craft engaging and informative copy for social media, product detail pages, emails, recipes, ensuring alignment with brand voice and messaging
  • Develop and foster a growth-oriented digital content strategy with marketing team to generate content that raises our online rankings and drives traffic
  • Research topics within our competitive landscape


Qualifications:
    • 3+ years copywriting experience in B2C integrated campaigns.
    • Strong portfolio demonstrating both print and digital/email samples
    • Effective verbal and written skills including excellent spelling and grammar
    • Attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Collaborative work style
    • Demonstrated ability to write strategic and creative copy
    • Knowledge of SEO, including ability to research the latest trends
    • Ability to develop extensive content in the brand voice.
    • Proven results in driving business objectives through copy
    • Range of Pay $70,000 - $80,000 annually
