SUMMARY: We are seeking a dynamic and skilled product team member to serve as the Content Manager. This role is essential in supporting the content processes. This person will not be authoring the curriculum; rather, the person will have significant interaction with the Product Owner (PO) to ensure the implementation and vision of the PO are accurately reflected in our curriculum development. The majority of the time for this position will involve inputting, running, reviewing, and fixing lessons to prepare for the launch or updates of the curriculum.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, able to work well in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, demonstrate clear communication skills, and be motivated to learn- with a genuine interest in driving impact in SPED classrooms. 

This position reports to the Vice President of Product Ownership (PO)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inputting Lesson Plans: This encompasses:
    • Editing and finalizing teacher notes.
    • Developing instructions for Virtual Avatars in terms of speech and movement.
    • Reviewing and selecting appropriate images.
    • Running, reviewing, and fixing lessons as required.
  • Providing Insights at Product Development Meetings: Actively participate in meetings, offering constructive feedback and innovative ideas.
  • Meeting with PO and Tracking Implementation: Regularly meet with the PO to track and support the implementation of the curriculum development vision.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to contribute to RoboKind’s success

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:
    • Advanced degrees or certifications in related fields may be preferred but not required.
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Business Administration, Communications, Information Technology).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Familiarity with digital media formats and image editing tools.
    • Competency in editing and reviewing educational content.
    • Basic understanding of curriculum development and instructional design.
    • Experience with tools such as Canva, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Confluence, Jira, or similar content and project management tools.
    • Proficiency in content management systems and platforms.
  • Experience:
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product owners and external contractors.
    • Minimum of 3 of experience in content management, curriculum development, or a related field.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders at various levels.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills:
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Additional Qualities:
    • Highly motivated and self-directed.
    • Capable of learning and adapting to new technologies and processes quickly.
    • Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Background in education or curriculum development.
  • Experience in a similar role.
