Harlem Children's Zone (HCZ) - a world-renowned education and poverty-fighting organization based in New York - seeks an enthusiastic, dedicated, and mission aligned Content Production Manager with the Communications Department.
The Content Production Manager will bring a passion for the mission of Harlem Children's Zone: break the cycle of intergenerational poverty with comprehensive, on-the-ground programming that builds up opportunities for children and families to thrive in school, work, and life.
The Content Production Manager will join our Communications and Marketing team at the forefront of innovation at HCZ, helping establish a world-class visual identity to reflect our world-class brand. The successful candidate excels at creating video and photography content and tailoring that content to different platforms, including websites, social media, and broadcast, as well as managing video and photography productions. They should also be strong relationship builders who are comfortable working with stakeholders across HCZ to produce content to promote our programs and schools.

Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years' experience working in video/media production
- Bachelor's degree required
Who You Are
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and be flexible with shifting schedules and assignments
- Strong post-production video management knowledge
- Knowledgeable of all social media platforms and have a strong understanding of content formatting for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and TikTok
- Proficiency in Frame.io, Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects), and Final Cut - within a Mac environment
- Highly driven, energetic, proactive, and takes initiative
- Superior organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills
- Highly collaborative with strong verbal and written skills
- Experience working at social impact organizations is a plus
What You'll Do
- Work in direct collaboration with the Director of Content Production on managing video, photography, and design projects (ex: Advertising, organizational swag, social media, etc.)
- Manage two Associates (Digital Design Associate and Content Production Associate)
- Own the postproduction workflow on all projects
- Provide line production support, including on-screen talent outreach and prepping production documents and schedules prior to shoots
- Oversee all setups for and attend and manage all video and photography shoots
- Manage our digital management asset system
- Help steward the HCZ brand, ensuring that all visual representations of HCZ stay true to our brand guidelines
- Partner with stakeholders across our programs and schools to create compelling content and help ensure that all stakeholder-designed collateral is brand-aligned

- Monday - Friday (9a - 5p)
