Our team strategizes and creates innovative content solutions for some of Walmart's most groundbreaking technology products. We have a massive audience, and we're looking for a well-rounded Senior Content Strategist to shape experiences for millions of users.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to constantly explore new and exciting ways to transform retail and be a part of growing and introducing new technologies. You'll distill complex problems into easy-to-understand solutions, creating content that's purposeful and compelling, while maintaining the Walmart voice and tone.
We're looking for someone who thrives on owning the full content and communication lifecycle of a product. This includes UX content, help/support articles, and all user communications. The right candidate should also be skilled in independent problem solving, facilitating working sessions, and presenting to/influencing stakeholders.
Here's what to expect from the role:
- Owning the full end-to-end content strategy, including UX content, help/support articles, and email/SMS communications
- Collaborating with Engineering, Design, and Product partners to deeply understand business requirements and turn around best-in-class content solutions with a focus on craft and simplicity
- Assessing the current state of a product's content ecosystem and identifying opportunities to make it more effective
- Bringing established and evolving information architecture approaches into the content practice
- Developing an extensive understanding of how a product works end-to-end, complex business requirements, and user motivations/behaviors
- Context shifting across different projects and adapting to changing priorities
- Communicating effectively with empathy
- An ability to help us identify, define, and implement solutions that go beyond words
- The desire to become not only a collaborator, but a subject matter expert in your area
- The drive to produce great work in short timeframes and adapt to ever-changing priorities
- Thick skin and an appetite for extreme collaboration, with a lot of experience participating in peer reviews and critiques
- Degree in English, Professional Writing, Technical Writing, User Experience, or similar
- 10 years of experience working as an end-to-end Content Strategist or a combination of experience in UX and technical writing
- Experience working on technology products, especially those with wide scope and external audiences
- Experience coaching and/or mentoring other Content Strategists
- A portfolio that showcases your craft, impact, and collaborative process

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
