Position Summary:
The main function of a marketing analyst/coordinator is to research market conditions in local, regional, or national areas to determine potential sales of a product or service. A typical marketing analyst/coordinator is responsible for gathering information on competitors and methods of marketing and distribution.
Responsibilities:
• Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data.
• Research consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collaborating with marketing professionals, statisticians, pollsters, and other professionals.
• Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data.
• Gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales, and methods of marketing and distribution.
• Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs and strategies.
• Develop and implement procedures for identifying advertising needs.
• Direct trained survey interviewers.
• Best-in-class content: Build compelling and informative content for Product Listings, A+ content, and Enhanced Brand Content (EBC) to educate customers and increase conversion.
• Content Excellence: Assist in building and auditing PDPs, executing leadership requests, driving PDP enhancements, and maintaining PDPs to align with strategic focus.
• Brand store: Work closely with the Sr. Marketing Manager to design and build weekly content updates and full quarterly refreshes.
• Site Placements: Create campaign assets across various site placements, such as Amazon Posts and Brand Stories.
• Communicate design rationale in a clear, respectful, open, and fluent manner across stakeholders.
• Independently lead various requests, initiatives, and projects requiring a high degree of organization and effective communication across multiple departments and functions.
• Conduct a daily audit of Product Detail Pages and report issues such as policy compliance and PDP content health.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent training required.
• 5-7 years related experience required.
• High proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or Canva
• Experience with site merchandising, onsite CX optimization, and CMS tools
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Experience with design principles, typography, layout, and grid structures
• Strong understanding of design process, specifically production design
• Ability to manage competing business priorities with cross-functional partners
• Strong time management skills to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
• Apply design principles that help drive successful design
• Understanding Amazon's sales channel and customer base, e-commerce and its associated merchandising/marketing tactics is a plus.
• Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
• Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
• Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods.
