General Summary:
This position reports to the Content Strategy and Acquisitions Manager. The Coordinator is to program, schedule, track rights and QA/QC content for digital products in Latin American and US Hispanic including and not limited to FAST Channels, Amazon SVOD Channels, and the Sony One App. This role requires a dynamic professional capable of swiftly adapting to and executing diverse projects while optimizing workflows. The role provides learning opportunities across various areas of the Latin American Content Strategy business.

The role provides learning opportunities across various areas of the Latin American Content Strategy business.
Responsibilities:
30% Programming and Scheduling
- Schedule weekly content releases for Amazon SVOD Channels, Ole Channels and the Sony One App. Ad hoc updates and suggestion of title optimization and removals to Manager based on performance and rights availability.
- Create and upkeep monthly programming grids for FAST Channels and supporting new launches. Support Multiplatform Planner in the strategy/master schedule creation and the content planner/roadmaps.
35% Rights and Metadata Management
- Upkeep content rights inventories and update internal rights systems to ensure correct implementation of available content windows.
- Track rights to ensure all contractual commitments are met across all digital platforms, such as exclusivity rates, catalogue size and conflicts with Pay TV Networks and XVOD catalogues.
- Update, organize, summarize, and translate content metadata for all digital content acquisitions including loglines, synopses, genres, content/audience ratings and cast and crew details.
- Review and clean metadata across digital platforms using Bebanjo, VideoCentral and Mediamanager/Arion to ensure a smooth UI (user interface) experience.
- Collaborate with and keep up to date on metadata requirements the internal teams, including Finance, Data Analytics, Operations and Marketing and Digital Partnerships.
20% QA/QC
- Ensure all content is properly uploaded and removed across platforms.
- Review all metadata, hero images, banners, key arts, and promotional assets to ensure they are properly displayed on the services across Latin America and provide an optimal UX (user experience).
- Provide general support to our Digital Programming and Content Strategy Team.
10% Workflow Optimization
- Assess and
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to migrate programming processes into any new system.
5% Content Strategy and Data Analysis
- Analyze performance metrics across FAST schedules for informed decision making on content selection and content programming.
- Support Multiplatform Planner in reviewing consumer metrics and local trend/behaviors to suggest scheduling and content acquisition opportunities across Amazon SVOD Channels and Sony One App
Requirements:
- Must have advanced proficiency and experience in Excel, including VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, Macros, and other advanced functions. Knowledge of Python is a plus.
- Previous experience (1-2 years) in data analysis, media and entertainment industry, programming/scheduling, or content strategy.
- Basic knowledge of content rights and acquisitions.
- Preferred experience with database/content management and programming/scheduling systems (WURL, Amagi, Bebanjo, Video Central, Media Manager, Arion).
- Knowledge of USH/Latin American media and entertainment landscape (broadcast, cable, OTT) is a plus.
- English and Spanish Proficiency (written and spoken). Fluent Portuguese
(written) is a plus. - Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to changes in systems and processes.
- Experience collaborating with different teams, but agile to problem-solve independently.
- Passionate about Latin American Film and Television Content or Content Strategy.
Education:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Accounting, Information Technology, is preferred. B.A in Data Analytics or Media/Television Studies, also applicable.
