The Editorial Content Programs team at Apple Music leads strategic content driven initiatives with our industry partners. This team works cross-functionally across the entire Apple organization to action business, editorial, and operational priorities, with the ultimate goal of identifying, innovating, and driving new growth opportunities. Our team works closely in partnership with internal and external teams to educate, develop best practices, create new content initiatives, and drives projects across the vast Apple eco-system. Apple Music is looking for a senior team member to focus on the development of artist and creative industry facing content initiatives. The role will work to build content plans, strategic proposals, and partner facing activations that align with Apple Music’s editorial, radio, content production, and business propositions. This role will also work closely with cross-functional teams across the vast Apple landscape. We are looking for an experienced self-starter that is highly motivated, forward thinking, loves strategic ideation, can manage and foster business and creative relationships, and has a deep passion for working with the global music community and industry partners. Description Senior leader focused on building thoughtful, innovative, and best in class strategic content and business plans. Role is responsible for overseeing the development of special project industry facing campaign plans for domestic and international teams. Role will work closely with internal cross-functional and external industry partners to build new artist opportunities for new content projects. Ability to effectively project manage senior leaders across diverse creative, editorial, production, and partnerships organizations on creation of future business concepts. Highly organized individual able to manage multiple projects with detailed tracking. Clear and concise communicator with excellent writing and public presentations skills. Thrives working under tight timelines, and with large cross-functional business planning, production, and creative teams. Identifying long-term content initiatives in parallel with the Apple Music Editorial team, and business development teams, creating unique and new opportunities. Domestic and international travel may be required; up to 15%. Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree or similar required. 7+ years of work experience in subscription service, media agency, music industry (rights holder, manager, live) or commercial digital music/media platform. Professional experience managing large scale partnerships. A deep understanding of the current global musical and cultural landscape, content production, new technology, and music content rights. Experience presenting large-scale campaign plans to organizational leadership, senior executives, and creative production teams. Key Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Comprehensive experience in the music industry, event management, or content development, with an emphasis on content strategy. Strategic understanding of key trends impacting the music industry, emerging business models, new technologies such as Spatial and immersive formats, and music subscription services operations.Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail, with the ability to lead multiple projects and thrive in a very dynamic team-focused environment. Experience developing and running complex, large-scale, promotional schedules. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Substantial relationship building skills. Uncompromising ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Exceedingly responsive, passionately proactive, and thoughtful problem solver. An innovative and critical thinker with a strategic approach to communication of editorial and business efforts. A passion for music, entertainment, and culturally relevant content across the genre spectrum. You have a deep familiarity with the Apple ecosystem of services and hardware. Education & Experience Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $150,000 and $287,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
