The Content Syndication Specialist will support Kimberly-Clark North America’s strategic business plan and “must-win” focus on Digital Commerce growth. The primary objectives for this role are to manage and syndicate Digital Commerce product content in a scalable way to consumer digital touchpoints. To accomplish these objectives, you’ll own mapping content in a logical, scalable structure that meets the needs of multiple retailer and vendor partner requirements. Finally, you will demonstrate skill in project management and prioritization, justify decisions based on data, and measure results through analytical acumen.

This role requires a strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of best practices for the management of digital content and data. Professional and previous experience working with content management and service provider systems, along with large data sets is required. The person in this role will need to be comfortable working both as part of a team and autonomously, effective with juggling various projects simultaneously, and solution oriented in their working style.

In this role, you will:

Updating, Maintaining, and Measuring retailer digital shelves:

  • Engage customer sales teams to ensure content is published accurately to key retailer websites
  • Primary contact for customer sales teams on issues related to retailer digital shelf content
  • Communicate and ensure best in class content syndication standards are planned for and achieved
  • Manage the creation and validation of new retailer category/product requirements
  • Support large content modification projects such as brand change, category update, and testing
  • Investigate, solution, and close content discrepancies on key retailer digital shelf

Formatting, Validating, and Distributing content:

  • Validate and map retailer requirements for new and existing channels within Salsify platform
  • Manage new product set-up data requests as needed
  • Perform data and content validation and transformation
  • Syndicate product content and data to retailer digital shelves on-time and in-full

Content Auditing and Other Tasks:

  • Data quality check to ensure content has been loaded to syndication systems correctly
  • Assist marketing and sales with product assortment and retailer content questions
  • Maintain consistent tracking of all content published to retailer websites
  • Report on key digital shelf metrics at key retailers

Technology & Systems

  • System lead for content syndication
  • Understand and execute navigation of key customer portals for product content setup
  • Be comfortable working in content syndication platforms like Salsify or Syndigo
  • Data mapping will be required to link content to products for the purpose of publication

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, statistics, or another related field
  • 2+ years of professional experience required in consumer-packaged goods or retail industry
  • 2+ years of Digital Commerce and/or data management experience preferred
  • Previous experience with Salsify and large data sets is required
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Advanced expertise with Excel functions
  • Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Some knowledge of and/or basic understanding of web-based layout/design programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative thinking, problem solving, and the ability to innovate
  • Exhibits flexibility, open-mindedness, and adaptability to a rapidly changing environment
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and accountability
  • Personal interest in Digital Commerce and data management
  • Positive team player and strong work ethic
