Senior Marketing Content Writer
Location: Hybrid in New York City (3 day in-office requirement)

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of proven experience as a copywriter and copyeditor for multiple marketing assets and formats
  • Ability to multitask and pay close attention to details
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Team player and an independent thinker

Bonus Points:

  • Experience working with U.S. small businesses
  • Experience in fintech and B2B content writing
  • Basic understanding of SEO
  • A deep understanding and passion for product, marketing, and technology

A day in the life and how you'll make an impact:

  • Write creative and clear attention-grabbing copy for various channels including web pages, emails, landing pages, videos, online campaigns, partnership materials, and more.
  • Create marketing messages that connect with our target audience and their mindset.
  • Manage multiple projects and stakeholders at once; adjusting content according to feedback and analytics.
  • Conceptualize and write different types of content, ensuring a consistent, compelling narrative, style and brand voice in alignment with the company's marketing strategy and core messaging.
  • Conduct in-depth research, using external and internal resources
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners across the organization as a representative of the Marketing Team
  • Manage multiple projects while delivering high-quality work on tight deadlines.

About the team:

The Growth department is made up of 4 teams: Performance, Brand & Marketing, Content, and Communications. As part of the team, you'll be a stakeholder in various tasks, including market research, competitive analysis, campaign execution, and content creation. We work closely with Product teams, Marketing teams, Design, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that our products are positioned and marketed effectively. We're the ones who make sure our product reaches new audiences and that users keep coming back. As part of a Growth team within a fintech company, you'll have a unique opportunity to make a real impact on Melio, its product, and our users and help the company scale.
