Amida is looking for a MARKETING CONTENT AND KNOWLEDGE STRATEGIST to join our team in Washington, DC.

The selected candidate will play a key role in leading the development of high-quality technical marketing materials and project overview decks that highlight Amida's capabilities and successes, using strong storytelling and writing skills. This position requires the ability to create content based on input from subject matter experts (SMEs) and collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure clear communication of Amida's offerings. Additionally, the role includes supporting the maintenance of Amida's knowledge management platform and providing broader marketing support.

What you will do:

  1. Lead the development and upkeep of technical marketing materials and project decks, such as white papers, case studies, one-pagers, and capabilities decks, ensuring they clearly communicate complex solutions to target audiences.
  2. Create compelling project overview decks that effectively showcase Amida's offerings, value proposition, and achievements to clients and stakeholders.
  3. Translate complex information from raw drafts or detailed notes into concise, impactful descriptions, using storytelling techniques to resonate with audiences and differentiate Amida in the market.
  4. Present information in a structured and reader-friendly way, ensuring clarity and ease of understanding.
  5. Adhere to Amida's brand and style guidelines, ensuring consistency across all written materials and making necessary edits for alignment.
  6. Maintain a well-organized system for tracking content creation, updates, and material status, while managing detailed content requests, responsibilities, process steps, and deadlines.
  7. Collaborate with internal teams to understand Amida's services, technologies, and past performance, leading discussions with stakeholders to refine and simplify content while filling any gaps to meet Amida's standards.
  8. Present final work to senior leadership, ensuring it aligns with the company's strategic goals.
  9. Provide technical content and descriptions to Amida's Business Development team and partners to support effective positioning, sales, and solution deployment.
  10. Assist in maintaining a comprehensive content library by using Amida's knowledge management platform to organize assets and facilitate knowledge sharing across the organization.
  11. Provide additional marketing support as needed, including contributing to broader marketing efforts and supporting the company's presence at conferences and events.

Required Skills:

  1. Bachelor's degree required (technical background not mandatory).
  2. Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a deadline-driven business environment with a focus on written deliverables.
  3. Strong critical thinking, persuasive writing, and content organization skills, particularly in technical subject matter.
  4. Exceptional attention to detail, adept at multitasking and project management.
  5. Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into easily understandable text and diagrams.
  6. Willingness to adhere to established processes before suggesting changes.
  7. Thrives under pressure, takes ownership of tasks, and excels in organizing and managing projects.
  8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with masterful email etiquette and clarity in writing.
  10. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; experience with Google Drive and SharePoint is required.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Experience with project management tools like Jira and knowledge management platforms.
  2. Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
  3. Background in industries like healthcare, technology, or data analytics is a plus.
