Your Role:
As a Marketplace (Amazon) Content Operations Manager, you will lead our Digital Content Team. We are seeking a talented content strategist and problem solver who will help design and oversee all operational workflows related to our Strategic Content Planning process for our clients. You will be responsible for setting and maintaining high standards of content execution excellence, high productivity, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
-Oversee day-to-day content management operations, ensuring high quality and on-time delivery of all content development projects
-Build a high performing Content Operations team - Hire right, coach and develop the Content Operations team
-Provide subject matter expertise on content optimization to digital content team, clients, and cross-functional teams, helping to maintain best in class content execution
-Assess existing processes and lead the development of SOPs and more optimized workflows that ensure greater speed/efficiency while enhancing quality of output
-Proactively assess merchandising data needs and work with data engineering team to develop or ingest such platform data into our in-house reporting tools
-Effective resource planning and management - ability to forecast department capability or resource needs in advance to avoid resource constraints that can hamper quality work delivery
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree preferred
-Highly proficient at organizing and analyzing data with Microsoft Excel
-Has at least 3 years experience of independently developing and executing Marketplace Content Strategy (SEO, Enhanced Brand Content, Variation Strategy) on platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, and eBay.
-Has strong business acumen and analytical skills to build insights-driven content optimization proposals
-Has a holistic understanding of the critical growth factors that influence success on ecommerce marketplaces.
-Must be a proactive, critical thinker, team player, who thrives working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, is organized, detail oriented, collaborative, and fully embraces positive change.
-Innovative problem-solver and self-starter who enjoys researching new platforms, technologies, and other resources to continuously enhance or improve existing processes.
-Is an excellent communicator (written and verbal) with a keen attention to detail
-Is an effective people manager or team lead who has a demonstrated track record of leading teams to consistently deliver high quality work on-time and in-full
-Is available for full time work Monday - Friday, for an eight (8) hour window between 7:30 am and 5:00 pm EST
$85,000 - $90,000 a year
