Job Description

The RISC-V Content Marketing Manager is fully dedicated to source, position, curate, and develop strategic marketing content for RISC-V with measurable impact across web and developer experiences; events, social, white paper, and other delivery; as well as keenly supporting and amplifying RISC-V member success. The role will play a key role within RISC-V and the broader RISC-V community with support from peers across RISC-V and The Linux Foundation.

Top candidates will bring experience in vision and hands-on execution, across multiple domains of AR/PR, marketing, events, online content cultivation, stakeholder engagement, and community development. Candidates will be results oriented and able to track progress and pivot quickly to adopt industry best practices and course adjustment while managing and tracking initiatives within budgets, timelines, and priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Editorial Calendar Management

  • Content Strategy, Creation, and Curation

  • Social Media Amplification

  • Influencer and Community Engagement

  • Performance Analysis and Reporting

  • Leverage marketing technology software and resources to expand and measure reach and impact of RISC-V content

  • Lead appropriate RISC-V collateral, such as presentations, white papers, web content, and digital voice

  • Partner and coordinate  with community stakeholders, external agencies, RISC-V, and Linux Foundation peers on:

    • Event messaging and content

    • AR/PR and influencer strategies

    • Website strategy, content development and evolution

    • Developer experience

    • Global and regional strategies as well as industry specific engagement

    • Relevant market research

Qualifications

  • 8 years of progressive marketing experience in technical environments

  • Strong understanding and technical acumen in microprocessors and related industry applications

  • Exemplary written, verbal, and visual content authorship skills  

  • Ability to engage and positively influence multiple stakeholders

  • Experience working with and energizing external communities on complex technical topics

  • Proven campaign success promoting and supporting products that have developers as a customer

  • Experience in modern marketing software

Preferred

  • Experience working with Open Source projects and communities

  • Advanced degree in a Marketing or related field

This position is employed by the Linux Foundation as a full-time role, dedicated 100% to RISC-V International. The Linux Foundation provides general management and operational services to RISC-V International to enable best in class operations and leadership support for RISC-V and its employees.
