We are looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Content Creator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is motivated and adaptable, understands the nuances of creating content for diverse social media platforms, has experience working with talent/athletes at a media/entertainment brand, and has their finger on the pulse of all things current from sports to pop culture, comedy and music.

This role will oversee the ideation, execution, and publishing of social content developed for social media platforms including Tik Tok, Instagram, X, and Facebook. The SiriusXM organic social team will partner with hosts, internal and external talent at our SiriusXM studios (or via Zoom/self-capture), off-site events across the country, and other special events and programs. Content encompasses social video (both planned and reactive) with a heavy emphasis on vertical video, custom graphics, live event coverage and more.
What youll do:
- Create compelling and engaging social content that drives both brand awareness and encourages users to actively engage with and click through content (as needed)
- Develop and execute content strategies across platforms that align with our brand identity and goals
- Manage social native content captures and asset production end-to-end including brainstorms, project outlines, and scripting for social videos that can be leveraged across channels, aligning with current trends and relevance
- Write copy for social media posts across the SiriusXM brand accounts, with a primary focus on sports content. Content genres may also include music, multicultural campaigns, entertainment and comedy.
- Collaborate with the analytics team to interpret and analyze all available data to make strategic and tactical recommendations.
- Works across internal stakeholders including Programming, Talent, PR, Marketing and Paid Social departments to facilitate asset requests and approval of content.
- Identify opportunities and develop 1-sheets for concepts that partners/talent use to pitch guests for social initiatives and facilitate approvals, with internal/external stakeholders
- Direct and prep talent, hosts on answering questions/prompts
- Identify relevant and topical moments in interviews to feature on social
- Present the team during weekly meetings, delineating team plans, needs, and requirements.
- Coverage during the evenings, on weekends and/or holiday weekends may be required with notice. Ability to travel up to 20% of the time for offsite events
- Film and edit videos shot on iPhone and DSLR cameras
- Collaborate across organic social team to develop cohesive support strategy, schedule content and track content distribution across platforms
- Represent SiriusXM, by hosting video content and speaking directly to the audience (as requested)
What youll need:
- Minimum 3-5 year of experience working at an agency or entertainment brand
- Minimum 3 years of experience, creating content, writing social content and managing social platforms
- Experience with social media management tools like Sprout and/or Emplifi
- Familiarity with video editing, photography and graphic design
- Understanding of primary social media and digital search KPIs
- Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, AfterEffects, Premiere, and tools like Canva
- Experienced in Microsoft (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) and Google Suite (Slides, Docs, Sheets)
- Experience using Monday.com or similar project management software
- Sports/Music/Entertainment industry experience is preferred
- Experience working with high-profile campaigns and talent a plus
- Deep understanding, curiosity and use of multiple social media platforms and internet culture
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Must work positively and collaboratively with other team members
- Strong analytical skills to carry out a metrics-driven approach to content creation
- Self-starter attitude and the ability to initiate and carry out projects with minimal supervision
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $64,000 to $83,300 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
