Compensations: College Credit available - This position is non-paid.

Status: Part-time seasonal

Start Date: April 2025 (flexible with academic schedule)

End Date: September 2025 (flexible with academic schedule)

Hours Expected to Work: 10:00am 4:00pm (non-Gamedays) | 1:00pm - end of game (Gamedays)

Job Description:

The Photography / Digital Content Creation Intern will assist with season-long content development and ideation. The ideal candidate is creative, comfortable and active across the main social media platforms, confident and poised in interactions with athletes and fans, and is willing to contribute to overall marketing initiatives.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Gather video and still content during Dash home games. Including but not limited to player action shots, fan interaction, Truist Stadium areas, and Sponsorship elements
  • Brainstorm digital content to highlight the Dash's brand and maximize revenue
  • Maintain and organize all content captured during games and outside events
  • Full understanding of each social media platform and its capabilities while staying on top of trends
  • Research marketing and sales strategies of other MiLB/MLB teams and other professional sports
  • Assist leadership in the consistent brand image through all internal and external forms of communication, including digital media and content, and fan communications
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements:
  • The ability to work nights, weekends and holidays during the Dash's 2025 season
  • Photography and videography skills
  • Video Editing and Photoshop experience
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premier, InDesign). Knowledge of Adobe After Effects is a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of baseball. Previous experience working in sports is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of social platforms and their respective algorithms
  • Applicant should be a team player who is creative, driven and motivated for success
  • Applicant should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, including correct grammatical usage


Training:

All new hires in the Winston-Salem Marketing department will be thoroughly trained in all job duties and responsibilities. You will receive training and skills needed to be successful with the Winston-Salem Dash or any other professional team.
