Overview:
Horizon Firearms, founded in 2012, is looking to expand our team! We manufacture long-range, bolt-action rifles that are assembled from the finest components, perfected by hand, and guaranteed to shoot .5 MOA or better.
We consider ourselves counter-cultural relative to the traditional firearms industry market, and we want people who think creatively. We move fast, and we have new opportunities presenting regularly. We need a Jack/Jill-of-all-trades in the content creation world to be able to produce a variety of deliverables to continue building the Horizon Firearms family of brands.

Primary Function:
The Visual Content Creator will be tasked with creating all visual assets that Horizon Firearms and Kaspar Outdoors may need to execute strategic goals and communicate the company’s value proposition.
The Ideal Candidate Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Considers themselves a Jack/Jill-of-all-trades when it comes to graphic design, video production, and content creation.
- Not only appreciates the art of storytelling but can see it through from vision to completed project.
- Has experience with video capture, video editing, and post-production for diverse platforms, including social media, websites, and presentations.
- Is comfortable operating various video equipment and software, ensuring high-quality output.
- Has experience with AI-generated graphic creation.
- Has a love of learning and isn’t afraid of new tech ways of creating content.
- Understands that every platform has different requirements and can adjust content accordingly.
- Can take a well-written creative brief and deliver a design project that exceeds expectations of the stakeholder(s).
- Is highly skilled with Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro and After Effects for video editing.
- Has a natural eye for creating, improving, and editing visual and motion content.
- Will be a brand ambassador in every sense of the word.
- Feels confident holding partners, peers, and superiors accountable.
- Is goal-oriented, self-motivated, and knows how to “manage up” when needed.
- Is a self-driven problem solver and creative thinker.
- Can perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Past work examples that will leave us wanting to see more.
- Proficiency in video production, editing, and motion graphics software.
- Ability to capture high-quality video footage, including product demonstrations and lifestyle scenarios.
- Must pass drug test and background check.
- Full-time position.
- Occasional travel to shows and special events.
- Required office location: Bryan, Texas.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit and/or walk (33-75%) for extended periods of time
- Must be able to stoop, bend, twist and lean (10-25% )
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds occasionally (0-33%)
Work Environment:
- Typically inside a climate-controlled office and is required to occasionally move from office to manufacturing areas and outdoors to perform duties
- Occasional exposure to manufacturing environment where the use and wear of proper protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses or side shields on glasses and closed toe shoes are mandatory
