Job Description Summary:
At PayPal, Content Designers work side by side with UX Designers, Product Owners, and UX Researchers to create customer experiences that empower people and businesses financially around the world.

Job Description:
What you’ll do at PayPal:
- Help lead content strategy for PayPal’s small business product offerings, translating global product requirements, user insights, and data into clear, concise, user-centric content.
- Manage and set vision for a small team (based in Europe and US) of content designers, working collaboratively with visual design.
- Plan, design, and write U.S. English content for web and mobile experiences (across all touch points including navigation and UI copy, emails, in-app notifications, chatbots, and help).
- Effectively interact with and manage business partners from various disciplines, including creative, product, development, and brand.
- Lead internal content workshops.
- Present your work and articulate your approach to teammates, product owners, and leadership.
- Partner with Design on page layout, interactions, visual tone, and accessibility standards.
- Coordinate content with Brand, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure we create a consistent end-to-end experience.
- Partner with Legal and Risk to deliver content that complies with regulations.
- Use data and research to evaluate your content’s impact and push for continuous improvement that shows real results.
- Maintain and evolve PayPal’s content standards, including voice and tone.
- Learn a lot, make an impact, have fun. Occasional travel required to Europe and within the U.S.
Additional Job Description:
- 5-7 years of content strategy experience writing content for interactive user experiences as part of a product design team. May substitute up to 2 years of experience with a User Experience related degree, such as Design.
- Experience with SMB product content preferred.
- Degree in Information Science, or HCI.
- Fluency in written English.
- Confident, highly creative writing and critical-thinking skills.
- Experience working with content standards, such as style and voice and tone guidelines.
- At ease contributing to multiple projects, setting stakeholder expectations, working individually and collaborating across teams.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Design, Information Science or related fields is appreciated but not required.

The total compensation for this practice may include an annual performance bonus (or other incentive compensation, as applicable), equity, and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $99,300 to $216,040. For the majority of employees, PayPal's balanced hybrid work model offers 3 days in the office for effective in-person collaboration and 2 days at your choice of either the PayPal office or your home workspace, ensuring that you equally have the benefits and conveniences of both locations.
