Content Systems is seeking a Sr. TPM to provide technical leadership, program management, and strategic planning across our suite of content creation and image rendering tools. In this role, you’ll conceive, prioritize, and execute development projects driven by your obsession to provide the most intuitive and efficient experience for Content Creators, enabling them to seamlessly create millions of pieces of engaging content for Amazon’s customers. You’ll work closely with product partners, software engineers, data scientists, and Amazon merchandisers to improve the end-to-end workflow for marketing content creation at Amazon. Your technical input will optimize delivery of content and assets, increase content quality, and improve interactions with our tools. You'll have opportunities to travel internationally to collaborate with global teammates and your work will continuously improve the experiences of millions of customers on one of the highest traffic consumer websites in the world. You can expect to: Provide technical input on project feasibility and architecture Manage scope, resources, and risk Align technical projects with business objectives Create and maintain technical documentation Experiment with evolving technologies, such as machine learning and Generative AI The Content Systems team owns the foundation of merchandising tools at Amazon. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of technical product or program management experience 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience 3+ years of software development experience 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership Experience working with marketing and creative teams. An understanding of (or passion to learn) AI technologies, basic machine learning principles, and broader capabilities, coupled with technical understanding for effective collaboration with engineers, architects, and AI/ML practitioners in both strategic and tactical discussions. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
