Ragtag bunch of hooligans seeks a creative leader to evolve and uphold the creative standard of the agency while mentoring and growing our creative team. Our new creative leader could be a Group Creative Director or Executive Creative Director with copywriting or art direction background. This leader will have a POV and ability to lead from a cohesive copy and visual perspective. About the job: As our business continues to grow, we seek a GCD / ECD to lead and expand our agency’s overall creative practice. You will be instrumental in enhancing the way SRW approaches and positions our creative abilities and how it continues to service our clients’ growing needs across brand campaigns, partnerships, social media and shopper marketing. You will constantly look for ways to elevate our creative output and sell concepts that take our clients’ businesses to new heights. Plus, you are a new biz expert who welcomes the challenge of a big pitch. SRW's GCD / ECD will lead the charge for creating ideas and campaigns that make us all truly proud to be here. You will collaborate with our internal teams and clients to build strong relationships and sell big ideas, while directly pitching in on projects alongside art directors, copywriters, designers, and creative producers on the team. About You: You are a leader with zero hubris; you have a reasoned opinion and communicate it with kind, respectful candor. You bring a positive energy and a communication style that inspires others. You have strong business sense, with an understanding of how to leverage creative to drive business results. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and the drive to implement new and better ways of thinking and working. You possess exceptional presentation, communication, and story-telling skills, a charismatic presence, and an ability to sell concepts and ideas at an executive level. You are experienced in managing the training, mentoring and development of a creative team, including art directors, producers, copywriters and designers. You know how to drive the integration of creative best practices and strategies across shopper marketing, partnerships, social media, and production. You adopt, use and motivate team members to use AI for ideation and quick comping support. Requirements: Oversees the creative vision and execution across all SRW clients on a day-to-day basis; serves as creative lead on a handful of key agency clients. Leads the creative POV in new business initiatives, participates in pitches and ensures that our creative practice is positioned and tailored for our prospect's needs; brings new business connections where appropriate. Works alongside the department leads team to ensure that creative best practices and processes are consistently applied at the agency. Learns and understands clients’ audience insights, product benefits, offers, KPIs and brand standards to influence the work. Understands consumer segments in relation to brand strategy, messaging and platform. Leverages data and industry trends to inform and drive creative ideas that are on strategy and positively impact results for our clients. Partners with the Strategy, Shopper Marketing and Media teams to sell in concepts from monthly content pitches to large scale campaigns. Partners with Influencer Marketing and Public Relations teams to develop ideas that are social savvy and garner earned media attention. Represents agency leadership POV and rationale to creative team and manages consistent communication to keep all team members up to date on agency initiatives and happenings. Helps attract, recruit and retain top talent throughout the entire creative department; strategizes the right structures and next hires for the department. Additional Qualifications: 5+ years in a Creative Director or Senior Creative Director role. 10+ years working in an agency setting. Art Direction or Copywriting background; ability to provide leadership, mentorship and direction on visuals and copy. Strong portfolio of work showcasing integrated campaigns including concepting (big ideas to execution), video, social, earned media and partnerships. CPG experience required. Shopper marketing experience (in addition to brand campaign experience) is highly desired. Expertise in managing, mentoring, developing, and recruiting top creative talent. Salary is dependent on role (Group Creative Director or Executive Creative Director) and ranges from $170,000 to $215,000 based on relevant work experience.
