Overview

Oak View Group is looking for a creative and passionate Vice President of Creative Services to join our global marketing group working with multiple brands in the portfolio. This position is based in Denver or NYC.

The Vice President of Creative Services will serve as the visionary leader responsible for driving the creative direction and execution of all brand-related initiatives. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the look and feel of the company's brand across all touchpoints, ensuring consistent, high-quality creative output that resonates with target audiences and aligns with OVG's business goals. The VP of Creative Services will oversee the internal creative team and collaborate closely with cross-functional departments, including marketing, communications, and venues, to create compelling, innovative campaigns that elevate the brand and deliver measurable results. The position requires strong brand strategy and creative skills, the ability to produce great work in a fast-paced fun environment and a deep understanding of how visual elements travel across digital and presentation platforms. A passion and enthusiasm for music, sports and live entertainment is a MUST.

This role will pay a salary of $175,000 to $200,000 and is bonus eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the SVP Global Communications and Brand to grow and evolve the overall OVG brand storytelling and brand architecture across all organizational creative assets.
  • Partner with internal divisions to establish creative strategy and design that aligns with our marketing goals, brand guidelines and future initiatives including:
  • Integrated campaign development, brand and project design, digital and print, websites.
  • Corporate templates and presentations to support executive communications and reinforce brand identity.
  • Have a proven track record of thinking conceptually and strategically across multiple platforms - character-led storytelling a plus.
  • Oversee the creative team to maintain design quality and execution integrity.
  • Proactively identify new tools, resources, and techniques to enhance creative output across all media channels.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices to bring fresh, innovative ideas to life in visual assets. Implement strategies for 360° campaigns and creative initiatives that resonate across multiple touchpoints.
  • Work closely with marketing and other cross-functional teams to align marketing and creative requests in communications and process.
  • Guide pre-production, production, and post-production for photo and video projects, ensuring high-quality, on-brand visual storytelling.
  • Manage creative schedules and deliverables, adapt to overlapping timelines, and adjust scope as necessary.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all mediums, including product photography, video, and content.
  • Be hands-on in executing design assignments including logos, PowerPoint presentations and handouts, conference identity and materials, B2B events creative and consumer marketing.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize accordingly.
  • Handle additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications

Mini
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Visual Communications, Graphic Design, Art and Design (or equivalent) required
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in creative design team leadership positions in marketing, advertising, or digital/integrated media with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
  • Demonstrated success leading and collaborating with teams
  • Demonstrated experience of influencing without authority
  • Experience in the live entertainment, sports or hospitality industry a plus
  • Strong organizational skills: detail focused, able to handle multiple tasks/projects at a time, meets deadlines
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Comfortable navigating changing environments.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and creative suite platforms (Adobe, etc.)
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships as required by job responsibility.
  • Listen effectively, assesses the situation, determine relevant issues, & suggest solutions
