The Work:
Conceptual Design
- Work directly with the Director of Creative Design Specification and Creative Specialist team
members to execute the following:- Furniture solutions to address a look/feel package with no defined furniture specification
- Alternates where products selected from a design firm may not work due to price
point or lead time requirement.
- Collaborate with the Creative Services and Marketing team in the development of customer-facing presentations, design decks, and standards.
- Create full furniture layouts (including workstations, private offices, conferencing, and ancillary) and renderings using CET/AutoCad
- When required, facilitate photo-realistic renderings with outside rendering companies
- Create specification drawings in CET/AutoCad (typicals, furniture plans, 3D's)
- Create specifications and .sif files (including key schedules and tagging)
- Inventory existing products when required; incorporate them into furniture plans and specifications
- Assist with finish selections and creating sample boards
- Prepare installation drawings and supporting documents (specs)
- Maintenance of internal reporting systems, i.e. time sheets and project files
- Adhere to deadlines for key deliverables
- Identify areas that need field verification and coordinate actual dimensions with the final plan

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design
- Salary: $50,000 to $55,000, commensurate with experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD required
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is highly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- CET and Adobe Illustrator experience preferred
- 1+ years of design experience within a design firm, furniture retailer, or dealership preferred
