The Intern, Creative Services will report to the Assistant Director of Creative Services.This position helps execute USA Baseball's media plan and is responsible for capturing photos for both editorial and retail purposes as well as upholding the brand of our nation's pastime through graphic design for USA Baseball's events and national team programs. The Intern, Creative Services will work closely with USABaseball.com (Powered by Major League Baseball Advanced Media), USABaseballPhotos.com, USABaseballShop.com, and USA Baseball's social media accounts.

POSITION DETAILS
  • Full-time hours (40+ hours/week).
  • Possible domestic travel involved (all travel costs covered by USA Baseball)
  • On-Site
    • Based in Cary, NC or Peoria, AZ with access to a workstation during scheduled working hours
  • USA Baseball has 9 Intern, Creative Services positions available
IN THIS ROLE
  • You will shoot action photography at USA Baseball's events and games.
  • You will review and compile daily graphics featuring USA Baseball and other relevant mentions.
  • You will support the Assistant Director of Creative Services in designing content for social media, website, marketing, and advertising material; designing print and digital advertising material; and designing promotional posters and flyers.
  • You will ensure consistent styling vision and to reflect our USA Baseball brand standards.
  • Serve as a primary media contact at all USA Baseball events and assist with game day operations including graphic creation, photography, and videography.
  • You will assist with other tasks as directed by the Assistant Directors, Creative Services.
  • You will assist all departments as needed for the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • You have proficiency in creative areas, including photography, videography, and/or graphic design.
  • You have proficiency in Adobe Creative Applications, including Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
  • You are comfortable with Canon DSLR or mirrorless camera systems.
  • You are flexible and adaptable, willing to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
  • You are in pursuit of or have completed a bachelor's or master's degree in graphic design, marketing, or a related field.
  • You can successfully complete a background check prior to employment.
Preferred:
  • You have strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • You are passionate about baseball with an understanding of the amateur baseball landscape.
  • You are proficient in all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, X, and TikTok.
