Job Description
The Creative Strategy Manager will be accountable for driving both product and creative strategy across creative execution, specifically supporting the Aetna Commercial marketing team.

The strategy manager will partner with commercial marketers to develop value propositions, product messaging and ensure that Aetna modernization efforts are driven across all commercial marketing assets. This role is responsible for ensuring that strategic product positioning is upheld across all creative assets and deployed consistently across all channels driving the strength and quality of 360 strategic messaging for that product, program or service. Key partners include Marketing, Marketing Operations, Enterprise Brand, and key commercial leaders across the Health Care Business Unit.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Creative Strategy lead contact for the Commercial Marketing Team - who will partner, develop, and lead the creative execution across commercial marketing initiatives, photoshoots, tradeshow assets, offline materials, internal email production as well as manage the budgets that fuel this work.
  2. Lead contact for both internal and external agency teams for commercial creative execution.
  3. Responsible for governance of commercial brand RTBs across all value position development.
  4. Key partner across creative briefs to ensure alignment with brand strategy and product strategy.
  5. Provide ongoing collaboration, creative input, and design projects with internal and external creative agency partnerships.
  6. Ensures ideas and concepts align with marketing objectives and strategy and are completed in accordance with timelines.
  7. Ensures key leadership stakeholders are aligned with creative execution.
  8. Assists in the development of creative campaigns, brand content, and brand promotions to be executed across digital, social & traditional media.
  9. Lead onboarding of external agencies to ensure consistent brand implementation across all channels.
  10. Responsible for leading external agency status check ins and serves as the liaison with agency relations and marketing operations finance teams to ensure external agency capacity is in check and on budget.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 60,300
Maximum: 126,600

Required Qualifications
  1. 5+ years of marketing experience in Brand Marketing.

Preferred Qualifications
  1. Excellent organization, communication, and project management skills.
  2. Strong strategic, analytic, financial, and consumer research skills.
  3. Creative problem solver who can be collaborative with a diverse cross-functional team.
  4. Strategic thinker who can articulate the brand vision, as well as anticipate and identify consumer needs.
  5. Copywriting experience a plus.

Education
