Job Description
Gupta Media is looking for an Associate Creative Director and copywriter who is a natural storyteller and a conceptual ace with a knack for words and ideas. Youre an experienced creative who is strategic, grounded, driven, and eager to mentor and collaborate with others on our talented creative team.
At Gupta Media, you will solve problems for a wide range of clients, working in a variety of mediums on a variety of platforms. Youll handle social media campaigns, videos, websites, digital ads and more. If you can convey a big idea in a clear, compelling way, we want to hear from you.

About the Agency:
Gupta Media was founded 20 years ago on the idea that advertising could create huge leverage in our client's business. Our early work was focused on the entertainment industry, specifically live events (Boston Calling, among others) and recorded music (Sony Music, Universal Music & Disney are all clients). We have dramatically grown our work with big brands (Amazon, Fender) and sports brands (LA Galaxy, Washington Commanders). We have a global client base with a growing local roster across B2B and B2C brands across campaign, content and branding assignments.
What youll do:
- Team up with our designers to lead conceptual campaigns and write copy with a strong strategic creative sensibility across all mediums, such as OOH, digital, video, social and more;
- Help us build the copy capabilities of our team and be driven to be a part of building the team and elevating our work;
- Take ownership of your projects, working closely with all internal teams to ensure that the creative needs of your clients and audiences are met, on-brand, on time and within budget;
- Directly communicate with, and present to, our clients
- Collaborate with external production partners to execute work to our vision;
- Present and sell your work to senior creatives, internal teams, and clients;
- Develop campaigns from start to finish and manage up, down and across;
- Contribute to and participate in new business pitches;
- Find creative opportunities where possible, even if they haven't been assigned;
- Mentor other copywriters and help to oversee and manage any freelance copywriters.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
- 7+ years of agency and/or in-house creative experience
- An understanding of the realities of budgets and timelines
- Comfortable being client-facing and building client relationships
- Exceptional writing and conceptual skills across a range of brands
- Experience coming up with strong creative across all platforms
- Experience managing and leading creative presentations
- Industry awarded work a plus, but not required
- You are driven and have a desire to move up and mentor others
- You are excited to help us build and shape our team
- You are prolific and never stop at your first ideaand never stop learning
