The Opportunity
The Community team is seeking an exceptional, customer-centric person to lead our creative career programs to support our customers as they launch their careers. This role is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on future designers, illustrators, photographers, video editors, film makers, and more. The creative career program will help them decide on a career path, connect them to hiring managers, and help them get their first job.
What you'll Do
- Define the strategy and programs for helping people who want to have a creative career in the design, photography, or video related fields including programs focused on portfolio development, interview skills, mentoring, networking, self-promotion, and more.
- Build relationships with companies, agencies and organizations who hire designers, illustrators, photographers, video editors, film makers, and other creative professionals to understand how to identify opportunities for internships, apprenticeships, or full-time jobs as well as to prepare people to interview for and work at these places.
- Build relationships with education institutions, community groups, event organizers, and trade associations that work with people starting their careers in the design, video, and photography fields to partner on programs.
What you need to succeed
- A desire to help the next generation of creative professionals launch and grow their careers.
- Experience building programs and content for job hunting, self-promotion, and networking with preference for related experience in creative fields.
- Experience leading internship or apprenticeship programs at a company or educational institution including managing the application and matching process.
- Excellent communication, networking, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently across large internal teams as well as with partner organizations in the community.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a design field relevant to any of the creative communities preferred or 8 years in marketing creative products or community building role.
- Experience using Creative Cloud tools and services is a bonus.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $123,200 -- $245,500 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
