Walmart Creative Studio (WCS) is the in-house creative agency for Walmart. Our team develops breakthrough and distinctive design systems and creative conversations that drive business objectives and keep our Fortune #1 brand in the culture. The Content Studio is WCS’s on site production capability. We are a team of creative makers who are experts in the intersection of craft and technology necessary to tell the most innovative and compelling stories through experiences, art, design, video, photography, motion graphics, animation, and sound. Our Playa Vista state of the art production facility sits in the heart of silicon beach.

Position Summary
You are a skilled and creative editor with a strong technical background. You have a experience as an assistant editor at commercial editorial houses and are happy to roll up your sleeves to do any step in the editorial process. You find joy in setting up processes and structure that can help the creative process flourish. The role will require advising and standardizing editorial specs for the studio and best practices for file organization and archiving. You will oversee the onboarding of freelance editors and help to integrate them into the studio on per-project basis. You are entrepreneurial, resilient, and able to pivot to problem solve. You are excited by the potential to leverage the scale of Walmart to make an impact within the production community; and your ability in this role to inform and drive this impact.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the editorial pipeline and process with Jandy Studio including establishing project templates, file structure, and best practices for archiving.
- With minimal creative direction, edit sizzle reels for assorted marketing purposes with varying audiences. Content may include live action video, motion graphics, CG material.
- Consistently edit energetic and creative content that utilizes a range of content type; from live action plates, to motion graphics, to rendered CG content. Content may be for web, broadcast, or internal sizzle reels.
- Advise on workflows and tools to empower editors and unleash their creativity regardless of where they or their creative partners are located.
- Act as team player -- help ensure smooth operations, a friendly and calm workspace for our teams to be inspired; and a studio experience that leaves our clients and partners wanting more.
Basic Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge Adobe Premiere and industry standard workflows for commercial/marketing editing.
- Proficient knowledge in Adobe After Effects to allow for basic motion design needs as an offline edit may require.
- Knowledge of standard video file formats and codecs. Experience with transcoding processes, particularly based in Resolve.
- Creative and solution oriented to identify the end goal and propose a solution to achieve that goal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Social media experience, particularly with in-app editing such as Tik-Tok.
- Familiar with Avid workflows.
- Knowledge of Pro-Tools and scratch record processes for offline needs.
- Capable of color correcting in Resolve.
- Knowledge and comfort with high-end video cameras and an interest in capturing content.
- Experience in the Marketing, Retail or eCommerce industry.
- Bonus if well versed in motion graphics animation.

The annual salary range for this position is $96,000.00-$186,000.00Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:- StockMinimum Qualifications...
