The Education Creator is a critical role within the Global Professional Development and Education team, responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality digital learning programs. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and strong collaboration skills to produce engaging and effective learning experiences that meet the evolving needs of the attractions industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Design: Collaborate with subject matter experts, the global education committee, and external partners (including universities and industry leaders) to design and develop comprehensive and engaging digital learning curricula.
  • Content Development: Create a variety of learning materials, including interactive modules, videos, simulations, assessments, and job aids, utilizing sound instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
  • SCORM Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of SCORM standards and demonstrate proficiency in building and publishing SCORM-compliant learning modules.
  • LMS Integration: Work closely with the LMS Administrator to ensure seamless integration and optimal functionality of digital learning programs within the Learning Management System.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on all learning materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and effectiveness.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in digital learning and proactively seek opportunities to enhance the quality and impact of our programs.
  • Partner Collaboration: Build and maintain strong working relationships with external partners, including universities and industry organizations, to co-create and deliver innovative learning solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing and developing digital learning programs, with a strong portfolio of work.
  • Demonstrated expertise in SCORM and other eLearning standards.
  • Proficiency in authoring tools and multimedia software.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Passion for creating engaging and impactful learning experiences.
