Job DescriptionRaising Cane’s offers internship opportunities across functional areas of restaurant operations and support. As an intern at Cane’s, you'll gain hands-on experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with teams on relevant project work. Over the course of our 10-week internship program you will have the opportunity to work directly with a mentor in your field of study while contributing to supporting the growth of the company and building a professional network through work, events and program activities. Raising Cane’s internship opportunities are on-site at our Dallas Restaurant Support Office in Plano, TX.
The Design Intern will support the Restaurant Design team by being involved in day-to-day projects to support the group in coordinating related design tasks and ensures timely flow of communication between the development team, architects and vendors.
Your Impact and Responsibilities
- Supports Design initiatives by participating in project work
- Assists in execution of various components of and activities of assigned project(s)
- Provides relevant knowledge and insights from educational experiences
- Participates in intern activities and development opportunities
- Currently pursuing a degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related field
- 1+ years of volunteer or work experience in relevant field
- Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing
- Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively
- Microsoft Proficient: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word and applicable computer design software
- Able to travel within the local area to various restaurants and events
