Job Description:

As an Architectural Design Associate at Ideal Commercial Interiors LLC, you will play a crucial role in our design team, contributing to the creation and development of architectural projects from concept through construction. You will collaborate closely with senior designer and project managers to deliver high-quality design solutions that meet our clients' needs and exceed their expectations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conceptual Design: Assist in developing initial design concepts and ideas based on client requirements, site characteristics, and project goals.

  2. Design Development: Work on detailed drawings, renderings, and models using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to refine design concepts and prepare presentations for client meetings.

  3. Technical Documentation: Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and material selections under the guidance of senior team members.

  4. Project Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and contractors to integrate engineering systems into overall project design and resolve design issues.

  5. Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design ideas, progress updates, and project milestones effectively.

  6. Research and Innovation: Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative and sustainable practices into project designs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and other design tools (SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Architectural license or working towards licensure is a plus.
  • In-office position.
