Job Description
Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Designer with expertise in AutoCAD and Inventor for developing detailed mechanical drawings and 3D models.
Job Requirements:
5 years of AutoCAD and Inventor experience
Preferred Skills:
Experience with SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or other CAD tools
Familiarity with Project Management Tools
Job Responsibilities:
Develop detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings, including parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies
Use AutoCAD for 2D drafting and Inventor for 3D modeling to produce clear and accurate drawings
Create and refine complex 3D models of mechanical components and assemblies
Perform stress analysis and motion simulations to verify design feasibility
Generate assembly drawings and exploded views to illustrate component relationships
Create and update BOMs for projects, ensuring accurate part descriptions, quantities, and material specifications
Prepare detailed technical documentation to support manufacturing, assembly, and quality assurance teams
Identify design flaws or potential issues during the drawing creation process
Modify drawings to correct errors or incorporate design changes
Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
