We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Digital and Web Designer in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will be a critical part of our team, leading the creation of engaging and responsive websites using WordPress. You will be involved in all stages of the web design process, from conceptualization to successful implementation, ensuring our websites meet high standards of excellence and user satisfaction. The ideal candidate would have full stack WordPress experience and willing to go onsite 5 days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation of visually appealing and user-friendly websites on the WordPress platform.

• Stay updated with the latest trends in WordPress themes and plugins, incorporating them into our web design projects.

• Collaborate with the team to deliver fresh and modern designs.

• Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure the functionality and performance of websites.

• Use design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite for crafting web assets.

• Apply understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript to create and modify WordPress themes and templates.

• Implement responsive design principles to ensure websites display correctly on various devices.

• Incorporate SEO best practices into WordPress designs for better search engine rankings.

• Apply UX/UI principles to create intuitive and user-friendly website layouts and designs.

• Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team to meet project timelines.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Digital and Web Designer or in a related role.
• Proficiency in Backend Development is a must.
• Expertise in using Content Management Systems (CMS), especially WordPress.
• Experience with AB Testing for optimizing user experience.
• Strong skills in HTML and CSS coding languages.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and ranking.
• Proficiency in Responsive Web Design to ensure optimal viewing and interaction experience across various devices.
• Demonstrated ability in Web Design and UX/UI Design.
• Experience in creating compelling Digital Designs.
• Familiarity with WordPress CMS and WordPress Development.
