Facilitate the transition of 1st protos into final production ready prototype

Responsibilities

Work with head technical designer before fit sessions to ensure that all protos are measured and compared to requirements.

Prioritize samples for fit sessions.
Prepare for and attend fit sessions as assigned.

Fit and evaluate all protos in fit sessions with design

Work with designer to write comprehensive fit comments at fit session and ensure that all comments are accurately recorded and communicated clearly to factories.

Promptly communicate any trim changes to production team.

Communicate any problems with garment construction to head technical designer.

Create tech packs that provide clear ,accurate and comprehensive instructions so that factories can deliver products that meet Elie Tahari standards for fit, construction and quality.

Update tech packs after fitting on a timely basis to ensure that production calendar deadlines are met.Input and update all info in BMS.

Review all tech packs for completion,accuracy and clarity before sending to factories.

Work closely with factories to ensure that all communication is clear and on time , and all instructions are clearly understood and followed.

Communicate and resolve all specification and workmanship issues with factories.

Work with head technical designer to ensure all samples are tracked and on time.

Request Top of Line production sample from factories.Spec garment and compare with requested specifications.Review workmanship and alert head technical designer to any problems.Communicate all comments and final approval to factories.
