Job Description
Fanatics is looking for a skilled AI Designer to join our expanding digital marketing design team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in using Gen AI to elevate the design process and a proven track record of creating captivating visuals. This role calls for a forward-thinking designer who can push the limits of creativity and innovation, relentlessly enhancing the fan experience and driving exceptional engagement through AI and design.
What You'll Be Doing:
Leverage a diverse range of tools, including Midjourney (or similar AI platforms), Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other industry-standard design software, to craft finished images that captivate and engage our fans.
Collaborate with our internal social and CRM teams to develop top-tier AI-driven creative content.
Establish a clear process for AI image creation that includes best practices, quality standards, and collaboration guidelines to ensure efficient production of high-quality visuals.
Stay updated on the latest AI trends and techniques in image creation to continually elevate the quality of our creative work.
Advocate for AI design and share your expertise by teaching fellow team members the latest techniques.
What You Bring to the Role: Degree in Design, Graphic Design or related field
Strong knowledge of e-commerce design principles, creating visually compelling assets that drive engagement and optimize conversions through CRM and paid social media channels.
Strong portfolio showcasing innovative AI-generated visuals and creative solutions.
Proven experience with AI-driven design tools and generative AI technologies.
Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma.
Deep understanding of AI algorithms and their application in design.
Ability to blend traditional design techniques with AI capabilities to produce compelling results.
Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and advancements in AI and image creation.
Experience in mentoring and training team members on AI design practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to exploring new design possibilities.
Experience with video or motion graphics software is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in-office a minimum of three days a week.
The expected salary range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000. This is based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is also eligible for the Fanatics Commerce annual bonus program and an equity award. This salary range is listed in USD and will be determined in part by a successful candidate's geographic location.
