Overview:
Degree in graphic design, art, or similar discipline
5+ years of experience in the field
Strong portfolio of digital and print work
Passion for brand strategy and innovative design
Strong design principles and values while collaborating with partners and absorbing feedback
Time management skills to work on multiple projects at once and with various deadlines
Proficient on Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) and Microsoft Office
Excellent communication and presentation skills

The Graphic Designer talent we are looking for... Reports to the Brand & Creative Director within the Enterprise Marketing and Communications team.
Will work in collaboration with the other members Brand & Creative Team to develop high quality creative work that's on budget, answers to tactics outlined and is delivered in time.
Has great time management skills to work on multiple projects at once and with various deadlines.
Takes feedback from peers and strive to push the envelope to find innovative creative solutions.
Has obsessive attention to detail, a passion for brand strategy, great design aesthetics, and a constant eye on current trends.
Self-starter that takes projects head on from inception to delivery, asking questions when needed and always keeping an eye on brand strategy and alignment.
Solution provider and partner, and not an order taker.
Is proactive on finding the right solution for the problem brought to the table.
Responsibilities: Designing award winning quality work for print and online media that reflects our brand values across every touchpoint and is delivered on time and on budget.
Outputting high quality work from concept to production. Projects include - but are not limited to; brochures, research reports, event branding, social media campaigns, ads, infographics, website graphics, signage, promotional items and more - for various internal business stakeholders within the Association and the Educational Foundation.
Art directing outsourced photographers, food stylists, illustrators, printers, or agencies.
Collaborating with other members of the Brand & Creative team as well as cross divisional teams across the Enterprise.
Taking in feedback from Brand & Creative Director to fine tune work.
Managing files and deadlines as per the team's established best practices guidelines.
Being a brand ambassador and a guardian of brand values and standards.
Supporting all internal team members and departments following the Association mission and values while promoting Association culture.
Helping ensure content meets quality and brand standards and is compelling to our audiences.
Being results-driven and proactive in the application of innovative and creative approaches to drive engagement.
Position operates out of our DC office, with a required three days onsite, Monday - Wednesday with flexibility to work remote on Thursday and Friday.
